Mar 8 - WA - Mercury Lighting Bill to the Governor's Desk
ESSB 5543 is a product stewardship bill to recycle fluorescent lights and other mercury-containing lighting. The bill has been passed by the Legislature. On Saturday, the Senate voted 36-12-1 on concurrence with the House amendments to ESSB 5543. The bill now goes to Governor Christine Gregoire.
