Mar 30 - DC - Five Cent Fee Reduced Bag Use in DC by Almost 90 Percent
Washington D.C. is estimating that its new five cent fee law for single-use bags has reduced distribution by almost 90%, from 22.5 million bags per month to just 3 million bags in January.
