Details: Manufacturers selling covered electronic devices in Ohio must register with the Director of Environmental Protection and pay an annual $5000 registration fee. Electronic recyclers must also register and pay $300 registration fee.
HB 447 requires a manufacturer to establish a covered computer take-back program and covered video display device take-back program beginning April 1, 2011.
Covered electronic device means a covered computer or covered video display device.
