Bottle Bill Law

North Carolina does not currently have a bottle bill.  Learn about the North Carolina Bottle Bill Campaign: SB 641.  North Carolina prohibits the landfilling of plastic bottles.  North Carolina General Statute 130A-309.10(.pdf) banned recyclable rigid plastic containers, such as those used for soda containers, from going into landfills.
