Summary: LB 644 would establish a producer responsibility-based take-back system for electronics
Status: Carryover bill from 2009.  Indefinitely postponed as of April 2010.
Details: Establishes a producer responsibility-based take-back system for the following electronics: a computer, monitor, video display device, or television, intended for use in a home or residential environment and marketed to the general public. Manufacturers to pay a registration fee to Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality.
