Connecticut Bottle Bill Law
Connecticut's Beverage Container Deposit and Redemption Law was enacted in 1978 and covers beer, soda, and bottled water in metal, glass, and plastic, excluding HDPE HDPE containers and noncarbonated beverages.
The deposit amount is $0.05 and the handling fee is $0.015 - $0.02.
